Hispanic Audiences Looking for Insurance Answers

Mar 20, 2009 by Mark Maier

"Farmers Insurance Launches Hispanic Effort" is the headline from MediaPost but the bigger story is that as a culture research has shown that the Hispanic population as a whole is looking for good information and answers....

"Spanish-preferred consumers are hungry for informational material on insurance." In this case, those consumers not only prefer Spanish over English, but are 18 to 29 years of age, have asset growth possibility, and are looking for quality insurance."

The goal of coarse is to create long term customers and the Farmers campaign will run through second quarter.  Does someone in your local Farmers office speak Spanish?  Are they currently advertising on your Spanish language property?  Looks like this would be a good time to reach your audience with the marketing message and read the article for sources to tie into the questions the population is asking about insurance.  I went online to www.segurosfarmers.com which is the Spanish language site for the insurance carrier and they had 4 - :30 second video commercials featuring Edward James Olmos to use as inspiration or maybe get permission to tag for local agents.
