Greetings from San Francisco. I'll be here through the week.
Junior Bond (Henry) is going through his etiquette course, of being a gentleman and a student. He's posting some Barry Bonds-like numbers in his little league games also, which we have Tuesday and Saturday of this week. Team mascot Ajax is leading the cheering section.
Special Ops has more conference calls and paperwork to catch up on before heading back on the road June 4th. I'll be back to MI6 in Houston on Sunday morning.
This is the last week to add on to stellar May numbers and, more importantly, turning our focus on June and going into June at 80% minimum, and for some properties, 90%.
On a conference call with Nick Frost last week, I thought he said something rather poignant. Last week, they had some huge winds in the Okanagan Valley, around Kelowna, and some big trees blew down. Nick said, "The bigger the trees, the easier they are to blow over," meaning that bigger properties (as his property is having bigger numbers), or those with bigger numbers, blow over more easily than smaller trees that blow over but do not break.
Since there is more mass involved, there's more of the tree exposed to the forces of the wind. Nick's lesson: the bigger you get, the more you have to protect yourself with good people, good training and proper fundamentals, or you're likely to get blown over.
I'll look for some more of the stellar recaps such as the ones I received last week from LPG Management.
Congratulations to Jim and his staff in Wausau. Great attitudes lead to big things. Way to get it done. Nice job in such a short period of time.
Have a great week!
Sean
