The Center for Media Research released a report called "Ad Specialties Lowest Cost-Per-Impression" and having station premiums available take your brand to the street with advertising impressions....
"More than three-quarters of respondents have had their items for about seven months
- Bags were reported to be used most frequently, with respondents indicating that they use their bags on average nine times per month
- Bags deliver the most impressions, with 1,038 impressions per month on average

I was surprised to see how well bags performed in the study and I think it would be really wise for properties to look at the above charts when they choose what to use for premiums.
